Mid-Cornwall Dog Training Club

Mid Cornwall Dog Training Club was established approximately in 1970.  Initially it was involved in Working Trials and gradually extended to include obedience. We are a registered and insured with the Kennel Club

Since the conception of Agility, this has become the main focus of the club.  Due to not having tainers Working Trials are no longer trained and Obedience is generally at basic level and includes the Kennel Club Good Citizen award scheme.

We train indoors at Barguse Riding Centre.   We host 2 agility competitions each year,- an Open Show in July and a second Limit Show in October.

Dogs are also trained to take the Kennel Club Good Citizen Scheme Awards.  There are 4 levels of award, Puppy Foundation Assessment, Bronze, Silver and finally Gold awards.

We are a small but friendly club.  All our members muck in to help out with social events and running the rings at our competition shows
